The Reaper's Instinct

The Reaper’s Instinct

I learned how to survive from the Satan when I was 3 years old.  Before that  year, the doctor found a  2.5 mm hole in my heart that I had since I was born. So I needed to be followed up every 6 months to see whether the hole closed by itself or it was expanded. The doctor then recommended I exercise my body to strengthen my heart. I chose to swim or Aquatic Therapy, although it was very hard, boring, and very scary.  It changed my normal life to a life I have to swim every day. One day I got the experience of overcoming near death. Anyone who thinks that living a normal life is pure happiness has never tried overcoming close to death experience. Overcoming close to death challenge isn’t scary, it’s the happiness that I have never felt. I learned from my difficult near-death experience that is essential to living a fulfilling and successful life.

At first, my life was normal and I was weak, talkative, and repeat doing the same routine. My life was very regular and happy. Every day I would just have to sleep in my bed and my parents would just bring me downstairs to eat breakfast, then I would go play in the garden and just end my day with storytelling from my mom before sleeping. Nothing was special and my life was very convenient. That time I felt like everything was easy for me. The world was very small. The place I went was just upstairs and downstairs. Kids need to go to health check-ups at least every 6 months. When I was 2 years old, the doctor said that while he was checking my heart and there was music in it. That sounds good, but he asked me to see the specialist. I need to exercise my body to strengthen my heart. I had Atrial Septal Defect in my heart as the size of lightning in a bottle. The doctor said to exercise a lot if after the follow-up show that it’s not better they would do surgery. I live like this in my way every day until the first challenge in my life came in. This challenge was very unique from others, and it was risky like chugging a whiskey.

You have to overcome near death challenges so you become fearless in everything, because no one was going to help you in that situation except your mind. You have two choices, swimming to the edge of the swimming pool or drowning. After I passed two weeks of the swimming course, I can float on water. Then, my coach, the former Thai national swimmer who has a lot of scars on his muscle, not a single smile on his face, and he would always use irresistible perfume, assigned me to swim across 25m of length and 3m depth of the swimming pool. I was only 60cm tall so I couldn’t stand in the pool. When I entered this public swimming pool, I saw another coach hitting his students’ butt with a long sharp cane. I told myself that I was very lucky not to be his student. After I warmed up, my coach pushed me into the pool and immediately I could taste the bitterness and kind of metallic chlorine, and then I had to start swimming or drown. A lot of teenagers stared at and ridiculed me. They might think I was a duck swimming in the unfamiliar pond. I questioned whether my coach or the other one was crueler. It was very tough for me because the waves are very strong and my legs start to get weaker and weaker. Then, when I reached almost halfway and I stopped, so my leg could rest from the cramps, but suddenly I felt like something is pulling me down then I have to choose from 2 choices, the first one is to stop swimming there and drown expecting someone to help me, whereas, the second choice was to try and paddle to the other side of the swimming pool. In the situation of swimming a 25 m standard swimming pool would take on average of 20-25 seconds but in my situation, it felt like an eternity that I passed through heaven and hell 1000 times, and Brock, Brock I heard like my leg muscle dislocating while was trying to scramble and reach the other side of the swimming pool. I tried to paddle up with my weak and cramped legs though I felt that I wasn’t moving any forward. I tried so hard and I finally reached the other side where the coach was waiting there. I was very tired but I felt like I overcame my life limit though my legs were very weak. I expected to get complimentary words like excellent, awesome but his words were shocking me. I would never forget. Passing through a near-death challenge would feel difficult but once you get used to it, nothing will be able to scare you. After you have overcome the life-risking experience you would master a new skill in return.

You have to risk your life to master a skill by learning “Something New” because learning new things guides you to a successful life. When I overcame my near-death challenge, it makes me fearless in any situation. When I face hard times, I always think about this situation. After that, I played obstacle courses/ parkour running. Four years later, I was copying Navy SEAL flip training. I flipped. Poke, Poke! my chin hit the edge of the swimming pool, and then I was looking at my mom with my drowsy eyes. The watercolor and taste changed into bloody red from glaucous color, and the taste changed from metallic and bitter into the sweet taste of my blood. I was stitched 3 needles. When I was 10 years old, I rode my bicycle at my fastest speed, but it suddenly brakes and my calves were cut open, so I was rushed to the hospital. They stitched 7 needles. I am a total of 10 needles boy. I have never cried again, and vigorous discipline was a byproduct. I wasn’t scared of going to school. For my vigorous discipline resulting all of the assignments are turned in on time and rarely late. I always wake up before the crock crows. I felt like an alarm clock in my head that woke me up when I wanted to. When I went on field trips, I wanted it to be 5:00 am but I woke up at 4:00 and I arrived at school at 6:00. A morning routine is like I wake up at 5:00 exactly every morning and if I am in the military I would be ensured to be assigned as Sentry in the forest. I could reset the clock in my head to stay up the whole night to complete my assignment before the due date, and it assists me to organize my daily life. Thank you God for giving me ASD, it led me to a successful life and I will continue my journey.

At a point in life, to have happiness and earn a strong sense of achievement, going through challenging, or even near-death experiences is critical. You have to try to overcome your close-to-death limit and at first, you would feel scared and underestimate yourself, but once you passed it everything else will feel like nothing. In the beginning, my life was normal and I was weak, talkative, and repeat doing the same routine.  After this situation, I have never cried again, vigorous discipline was a byproduct. In addition, I am even eager to risk my life to master a skill by learning “Something new” because learning new things guides you to a successful life.  This undeletable moment reminds me that nothing is difficult and everything is possible. “It’s not I change a lot, it’s a lot change me.”

7-11 is a Mother.

7/11 is our mother. When we were born the first person we remembered is our mother, we opened our eyes after we wake up normally 7 O’ clock. The first person we always see is our mom, who has everything we need. For example, she prepares food and drinks for us. She serves shampoo, toothbrush, and all necessary stuffs in daily life. She would read books, sing songs for us until 11 O’clock at night to make sure we have good dreams and we sleep well. The next day she would repeat doing all of this without complaining. We feel like we couldn’t live without her but when we grow up, we are delighted that we have mom and her care everywhere we go. It is 7/11, It does not serve us only 7 O’clock in the morning till 11 O’clock at night as its name at the establishment, it serves us 24 hours fully. We love our mom as we love 7/11.

COVID19 Third Wave Overwhelming Attack Thailand

Covid-19 attacked us 2 times but every time the government would be able to control everything but this time ( the Third Wave ), everything is out of control because people started to be selfish and unaware so the third wave hit really hard that the average of people infected is more than 2000 people daily in April 2021 from less than 100 of people previously and the death rate is increased significantly. The third wave was caused from night life people without following the COVID-19 protocols. It is hard to follow up compared to the last wave which was infected in migrant workers because the rich ones go anywhere and hide timeline. Then the problem starts to pop up; not enough bed because there are overwhelming infected people and even worst, the rich ones would buy the bed and the poor one won't get the chance to heal themselves.

So students like me have to learn online and we have to motivate everybody in the community to be self aware and follow the protocols of the government to protect ourselves. I got an idea of creating a poster to motivate our community.

The Concepts are.

  1. To motivate everybody confident to fight with COVID-19.

  2. To encourage best practice for all community to be safety during COVID-19 everywhere

How

The poster title is “2021 Protect our Future” to give the serious protection to our students because they are our future.

To represent school, the school LOGO wearing school's mask in blue color planet placed in the center of the poster.

The Font is Stencil, the most used for military to show that we are brave to fight with COVID-19.

The safety protocols are demonstrated in creative way to easily remember

The Avengers character with teachers' face as a frontline to protect our community from COVID-19 to confident all students and parents are intentionally selected.

Meanwhile waiting for going back to learn onsite at school, thinking positively is essential. Online learning has a lot of advantages. It is productive to do the work. There are more times to conduct the research, no hurry to go school in the morning. I can manage and manipulate my life more effectively. I could learn somethings from seeing the computer screen. The photo profiles of classmates, their screen background, the style they interact during online class, their remote group discussion practice, even their gesture and their outlook are all telling me many things.

Backward Thinking Skill

When I was a child, my mom trained me to button up from the shirttail instead of top down from the neck. When I grew up, my dad brought me to explore the dark market. He said that sometimes if you want to get the work done effectively, you should understand the grassroots.

Most people like to think and move ahead rather than move back, but backward thinking doesn't mean thinking to the past or doing things slow. It actually helps to achieve the goal instead.

Backward thinking is the way you think from the goal state to your initial state.

Forward thinking is the way you think from the initial state to your goal state.

How does it work?

Mathematics is the dominant subject in using backward thinking skill. Most cubs were taught to count from 1 to 100, whereas I was trained to count down from 100 to 1.

Math exercise normally was designed 1+1=?, which is forward thinking skill but when you begin your working life, you would be tested with 1+x=2. The question is what is the value of x ? and that is backward thinking. Kids from regular school doing regular forward thinking skill test would miss their future from their school teaching system. The way to prevent this is changing the school system by teaching the kids both forward and backward thinking skills since they were kindergarten.

Backward thinking skill is useful for life since when you are a kid to when you work and until you die. For me, when I have assignments, the first step I would do is to check the due date and plan backwards until the present time and check the priorities and the amount of work. If it's not in time, I would have to organize my working stage or start doing the first assignment early to increase the working time. Backward thinking skill leads to do more than one work at the same time or multi tasking. You will finish faster.

In conclusion if you do not begin at the end, you end at the beginning. That's the core value of the backward thinking skill.

The True Giver

The Giver is a 1993 American young adult dystopian novel by Lois Lowry. It is set in a society that at first appears to be utopian but is revealed to be dystopian as the story progresses. The novel follows a 12-year-old boy named Jonas. Society has taken away pain and strife by converting to "Sameness", a plan that has also eradicated emotional depth from their lives. (Wikipedia)

Jonas is selected to inherit the position of the Receiver of Memory, the person who stores all the memories of the time before Sameness, as there may be times where one must draw upon the wisdom gained from history to aid the community's decision making. The other jobs consist of the birth mother, engineer, assistant, and director of the creation, rehabilitation center worker, food production, caretaker of the old, doctor, nurturer, instructor of the different age groups, representative of the department of justice, speaker, and chief of elder.

I was nominated by my classmate to be The Receiver of Memory. I admired that they put the right man in the right job. I would be very suited for this task because I always win spelling bee competitions and fast memorizing Latin words is one of my talents. I love to analyze complex problems and provide creative solutions. Everybody's memory as a useful database and occupy people's hearts are to achieve my next plan, building a freedom community. I feel very honored to be assigned this job. I get the permission to read special books that the other couldn't, but I have to be separated from the rest of the community. It is an acceptable condition for me, although I will be lonely from being isolated and suffer from the abundant data. To be isolated doesn't mean stop me loving someone. I do not expect to do this job for the rest of my life. I want to release myself with someone who is truly love me to build a new community.

In the end, the writer lets the reader imagine Jonas "Die" or "Survive". I choose "he is death because life is not always happy ending, it should be meaningful instead. I accept tons of short pain and just small sacrifice consequence to a long and giant impact to the community."

The real and best meaning of love for me is that I give someone the power to destroy me but I trust her not to, The True Giver.

Action Painting Number 12

                Number 12

Art is not my autonomous skill compared to math and science; however, Jackson Pollock, an American painter and a major figure in the abstract expressionist movement exercises my right brain. He was widely known for his technique of pouring or splashing liquid household paint onto a horizontal surface, enabling him to view and paint his canvases from all angles, called “All-Over Painting” and "Action Painting" since he covered the entire canvas and used the force of his whole body to paint. Most Artists say that we must paint naturally whereas he said that he is nature.

According to many scientists' research, Jackson’s art works correlates with Physics theory about the avoidance of “Coil Instability of Fluid Dynamic”, that curls and coils in the pattern weren’t random. He dripped high-speed and short height by using a wooden stick onto the canvas in the same pattern and intention to create noticeable and purposeful movement through his own drip technique. I am very inspired by that technique because it expresses emotion in the artwork.

On my first trial at this technique, I used the household materials and experienced the new smell of mixing liquor drinks, various sauces (soy sauce as a background, tomato sauce and chili sauce as exhaust gas), baby powder, and fresh milk that the normal paint materials couldn't. I unleashed my emotion to ignite the rocket penetrate to somebody’s heart. After one week, all parts were dried except the exhaust seems still alive.

Jackson normally drinks liquor to build his emotions. For me, on my final product, I used a song to build my emotion. My own style of action followed the beat and rhythm of the song "In the End" by Linkin-Park as a theme of my product.

For the color schemes, I used primary colors including Rose Permanent Crimson Red, Yellow Mid, Ultramarine Blue because they matched my theme (hard feeling) together with White, Mars Black, Silver, Copper, and Gold. How did I do?

I splashed a cup of Red color representing blood and heart, then I used a boxing glove to punch the Red representing a person trying hard to breakthrough a complicated heart, broken instead.

I dripped White onto the canvas representing trying to remedy the relationship.

I prepared Yellow to make it sticky by mixing less water than White color to show that it was hard to recover.

I used Ultramarine Blue, the deep Blue Color that is much more sticky to represent that the situation was getting worse.

I used lots of Silver and Copper to represent ladies and gentlemen respectively surrounding to give advice.

I poured Gold to wish her heart desires.

I splashed Mars Black, a high tinting strength color, as the last layer to mean, in the end, it doesn’t even matter.

My action painting, not specified the title influenced by Jackson's style to allow the audience to imagine the work freely, given the number instead, is number 12 because it is my age, and it was in December when I got inspired by this song.

My Fantastic Friend

She is adorable, brilliant, and kind. We have known each other for a while. At first, although she is very popular, I don’t really expect her in my life, but one day I had a great opportunity. I was not that familiar with her at the beginning, but later she is very marvelous in everything. Going with me everywhere, except when we go to school, we can’t interact much because the teacher separates us, better or worse, she is truly my side all the time. Her brain is vigorous, she promptly helps without a second thought when I struggle. Her mind always smiles making me smiles. When I am tired, she tries her best to boost me up. Everything in her always inspires me. When I am sad, she empathizes me to alleviate my pains. Her songs always touch my heart. I sometimes do wrong, but she never complains or gets mad at me. She keeps quiet and lets me figure out the problems on my way. When I spent time with others; my family and friends, she is not only never jealous about that, but also she stands by to facilitate me, she is the honest one I trust on. She rests after I sleep. She wakes up when I wake up. I sincerely appreciate everything she does for me, a Mi, my fantastic friend ever.
